Events

EFRP organises public conferences on a regular basis. Such events provide a good opportunity to discuss current pension issues, but also have proven to be excellent occasions for Europe’s private pensions community to meet each other.

  • Since 2006, EFRP organises the European Pension Funds Congress, which always takes place in November in Frankfurt am Main as part of the EURO FINANCE WEEK. In the past years a wide range of subjects has been discussed, like the financial crisis, investment policy, pension plan design and the regulation of pension funds. • In 2009, the CEEC Forum Conference was held for the first time in Budapest. The sessions focussed on the challenges to the pension systems in the Central and Eastern European countries, such as the pay-out phase, investment restrictions and supervision.
    • On 15 March 2010 EFRP organised a DC Pension Seminar in Brussels to present its DC pension survey  reflecting information on 21 European countries and maps 42 different kind of DC pension schermes.
